Zoom In Zoom Out

Last night I was thinking to myself why some people have a great time in life and others just don’t. A lot of you will rush into conclusions and blame the circumstances, others will say some people are just lucky while others have bad luck, others may say that positive thinking is the reason behind a good life.
What seems a fact, after understanding how the mind works, is that at a superficial level, we tend to have individual experiences of the same situation and therefore what I see is different than what you see. And that is how the human mind works, creates a personal experience of what is actually happening. It’s like a projector, first captures all the info available and then tries to predict what is out there.
So why some people create a good experience and others don’t?
Being the experience a projection of what the mind perceived, the level of abstraction we will create is determinant. I'm proposing here that this level of abstraction is intelligently managed by the mind if we don't interfere with it. Compare this with the Zoom functionality of a camera. It does zoom in and zoom out accordingly to the focus and intention of the photographer, depending on the level of abstraction and details we wants to capture.
That is clear but how does that relates with my mind and my perspective of the world?
Our minds were designed to Zoom Out when no intention or focus are present. So when we don’t need to use the mind for a particular activity, that every now and then is helpful 😉, it would Zoom Out and give us a holistic perspective of the world. That perspective is the closest we can get from Truth, from what is actually happening at a global scale. When we operate at this level all our cells are in harmony with the natural order of the Universe. It's clear that both In and Out are useful and natural behavior of the human mind.
Sometimes, when things don't seem to go so well, we innocently believe that we haven't dedicated enough energy or attention into a perceived problem. Instead of letting the system Zoom Out naturally and gain perspective, we interfere and Zoom In even more because we were told that if we have some control over the mind, we will have more things done, will be happier, will have success, etc.
We are now giving focus to the details, to what is important to us, our little worlds - ourselves. At this point, we haven’t Zoom Out for a long time, so we don’t believe that is a possibility anymore, we start seeing life through this limited perspective and everything else that was available back then is now just a dream, a mirage, not part of reality, because life is hard anyway, right?
Wrong! Nature gave you an automatic Zooming system so Stop trying to have control over the Zoom and let Nature does its Things.
It’s so beautiful to see the world from a Zoom out perspective, ask the Astronauts who saw Earth from the Space and never ever were the same after such an incredible experience.
You don’t need to be an Astronaut to change your view of the world, just see the intelligence of the “system” and give yourself a break.
